Fabrication Welder Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Welder to join our team at Jassal Fabrications. As a Fabrication Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure that welds meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in fabrication welding.
  • Or equivalent experience.
