About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Punjabi By Nature - Oakville. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting our chefs in preparing and cooking meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
  • Work closely with our dietitian and chefs to prepare special meals for patients as instructed.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 30 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English is essential for this position.
