Job Description: Patient Food Service Worker

This role involves working in patient and retail food service settings, reporting to a Manager or Food Service Supervisor. Key responsibilities include preparing and serving meals and supplies to patients, residents, staff, families, and customers, as well as cleaning and sanitizing patient trays, equipment, and workplaces.

The successful candidate will support safe food handling procedures and provide excellent customer service. They will perform various key work activities, which may include:

  • Patient Meal Selections (Customer Service)
  • Product/Food Preparation/Assembly and Service
  • Delivery and Collection
  • Food Handling
  • Menu Duties
  • Food Safety and Sanitation

This position requires flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team to provide services and achieve departmental and organizational goals.
