Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Chris Porter Trucking Ltd. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a semi-trailer truck to transport goods from one location to another.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to maintain the vehicle's condition.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other stakeholders to coordinate logistics.
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks to meet delivery deadlines.
Requirements
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of long-haul driving.
