Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches and Salads. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
- Work Schedules: Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately staffed to meet customer demand.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, efficient communication, and a team player attitude.
Our fast-paced environment requires individuals who can work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
