Job Title: Senior.NET Developer

Descartes is a leading provider of logistics and supply chain technology solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior.NET Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cloud-based software solutions.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Senior.NET Developer to join our agile mobile communication software development team. As a Senior.NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based software solutions using.NET technologies. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that our software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based software solutions using.NET technologies.
  2. Collaborate with our development team to ensure that our software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  3. Participate in code reviews and ensure that our codebase is maintainable, efficient, and scalable.
  4. Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure that our software solutions are thoroughly tested.
  5. Work closely with our DevOps team to ensure that our software solutions are deployed and monitored effectively.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest.NET technologies and best practices.
Requirements
  1. University degree or college diploma in software development or equivalent experience.
  2. Proficiency in agile methodology.
  3. Good knowledge and at least 5 years experience in C#,.NET, and SQL languages.
  4. Good knowledge and applied experience with GIT.
  5. Good knowledge and applied experience with.NET Entity Framework.
  6. Good understanding of microservice architecture.
  7. Good knowledge and applied experience of DevOps operations preferable such as:
    1. Able to set up a Docker environment.
    2. Able to set up MS DevOps Pipeline workflow for release using YAML format.
  8. Knowledge of one or more of the following is an asset:
    1. MSSQL, or equivalent database.
    2. .NET Core 8, MQTT, RabbitMQ.
    3. AWS and Azure cloud environments.
    4. New Relic instrumentation.
    5. Graylog.
