We are seeking a Registered Dietitian/Nutrition Part Time to join our team at Old Colony Elder Services, Inc. This part-time position involves contributing to the quality and growth of our Nutrition Program through menu development and educational programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have a strong background in food and nutrition, public health nutrition, or nutrition education. They will also possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as personal computer with secure internet access at home.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing new menu items and conducting monthly menu meetings with our caterer
- Preparing nutrition analysis for all menus from OCES' caterers, including specialty menus
- Conducting individual nutrition counseling and assessing consumer needs
- Collaborating with Program Supervisors and Meal Site Managers to increase congregate meal participation
