Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Manage environmental claims projects with a focus on project budgeting, invoicing, and meeting deadlines in line with client service agreements.
  2. Fieldwork and Data Gathering: Conduct thorough fieldwork, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  3. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, regulators, and homeowners on both technical and commercial levels.
  4. Proposal and Reporting: Produce technically sound and commercially focused proposals, scopes, and reports.
  5. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff, contributing to the overall growth and success of the team.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Experience in a similar role, with expertise in Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
  2. Background: Strong background in conducting Preliminary Risk Assessments, both desk-based and intrusive.
  3. Education: Degree in an engineering or natural science-related discipline (e.g., Geology, Environmental Science, Physical Geography).
  4. Travel: Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland.
  5. Commercial Awareness: Commercial awareness and a solution-oriented approach to project management.
