Job Title: Security Officer - Kingsway Mall

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Kingsway Mall. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers, employees, and property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to our customers
• Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches
• Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
• De-escalate crisis situations and provide support to emergency personnel
• Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers
• Write clear and detailed reports of incidents and emergencies
• Provide first aid and medical response when required
• Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities
• Handle Lost & Found items and inquires

Requirements:

• Must possess an Alberta Security License
• Must possess a Class 5 Advanced License or higher (GDL or Class 7 not accepted)
• Must possess 6+ months of security experience
• Must have full availability (Mon to Sun, days, afternoons, nights)
• First aid is an asset
• $500 sign-on bonus for those who possess all requirements
