Project Management Leader

At Peter Lucas Project Management Inc., we are committed to delivering high-quality project outcomes in the mining, energy, and heavy industrial sectors. As a Project Manager with our team, you will play a key role in overseeing projects from conception to completion.
We offer competitive compensation packages, including an estimated annual salary of $120,000-$180,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes extended healthcare coverage, company events, wellness programs, and a pension plan.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in owner's representative industrial, mining or construction project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. A post-secondary education in a relevant technical field is required, and PMP certification is an asset.
You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, providing guidance and oversight to ensure that each project meets operational standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing detailed project plans that include scope, schedule, and budget;
- Reviewing and approving engineering designs to ensure they meet project specifications;
- Coordinating with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project delivery;
- Monitoring project progress, quality of work, and materials used to maintain project standards;
- Preparing required reports and forecasts;
- Managing and allocating resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment;
- Conducting ongoing risk assessments and developing strategies to reduce risks;
- Conducting project evaluations and lessons learned to improve future projects.
