Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Worker, Fruit to join our team at Harman Sidhu Orchards. As a key member of our farm team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality crops are produced and harvested.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the crops to ensure optimal growth and quality.
  • Grade and sort fruits and vegetables according to size, shape, color, and volume to maximize market value.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Perform seed cutting and other tasks as required to maintain crop health.
  • Secure plants and prevent weeds from interfering with crop growth.
  • Harvest crops at the optimal time to ensure maximum quality and yield.
  • Work a standard 40-hour week, with the possibility of overtime during peak seasons.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth farm operations.
Requirements
  • No formal education or degree is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Previous experience in agriculture or a related field is an advantage, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a farm environment.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and challenging environment, with regular exposure to the outdoors and varying weather conditions. A valid driver's license and ability to operate farm equipment safely are essential.
