Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced childcare professional to provide part-time care for two 2.5 year old children in the summer.
About the Role:
This is a part-time position requiring 2-3 days per week from 9am to 5pm with occasional overnight stays during family vacations.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with young children, be able to plan fun activities, and ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging activities for two 2.5 year old children
- Provide safe and nurturing care for the children
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, and putting the children to bed
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding the children's daily activities and any issues that may arise
- Have reliable transportation and be willing to drive the children when necessary
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children
- Reliable transportation
- Background and police checks
- Vulnerable sector checks
- References
Working Conditions:
This is a live-out position with occasional overnight stays during family vacations.
What We Offer:
A competitive hourly rate of $21-$25 per hour and the opportunity to work with a fun and dynamic family.
