Job Summary

We are seeking a Production Labourer to join our team at JBS Foods Ontario Inc. in a meat processing and packing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials in a fast-paced environment.
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
  • Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers.
  • Feed and unload processing machines and check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Work Environment

As a Production Labourer, you will work in a meat processing and packing plant/establishment with a focus on food safety and handling skills. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and work in a cold/refrigerated environment.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
