We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). As an Orthopedic Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing complex surgical procedures.

Job Summary:
  • Perform surgical procedures to correct musculoskeletal disorders and injuries.
  • Conduct medical research on human disorders and illnesses.
  • Prepare research papers for publication and presentation.
  • Study the nature, cause, and development of diseases.
  • Act as consultants to other physicians.
  • Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
  • Completion of a residency program in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • 5+ years of experience in Orthopedic Surgery.
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically demanding with standing for extended periods and walking.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and manual dexterity.
  • Repetitive tasks and attention to detail.
