Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Brake and Tire Technician to join our team at U-Haul. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of vehicle performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on U-Haul's fleet of trucks and trailers, including tire and brake checks.
  • Mount, dismount, and balance tires to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Conduct road tests to identify any issues with vehicle performance.
  • Work in a fast-paced production environment to meet tight deadlines.
  • Use proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklists to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of repair experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Regular attendance is essential.
