About the Role
Job DescriptionThe First Nations Health Authority is seeking a senior leader to serve as Director of Regional Community Health & Wellness Services for the Vancouver Coastal Region. This strategic role provides oversight of regional health and wellness services, including Environmental Public Health, Nursing, Primary Care, Public Health, and Mental Wellness Substance Use.
Key Responsibilities- Oversight of regional health and wellness services
- Leadership in emergency response situations
- Collaboration with First Nations communities and health authorities
This role requires expertise in health service planning, community-based program development, and cultural safety. The ideal candidate will be committed to advancing Indigenous health and wellness in the Vancouver Coastal Region.
About You
Requirements- A Master's Degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Social Work, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Recent, relevant, and significant experience in Indigenous health and wellness programming and service delivery
- Experience leading complex teams in fast-paced environments
