Job Summary

Petro Canada is seeking a Retail Sales Manager to lead our team in driving sales growth and excellence. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for managing staff, assigning duties, and developing marketing strategies to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management: Lead and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, including recruiting, hiring, and supervising personnel.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and trend analysis to determine consumer demand and competitor activity.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold, locate and select products for resale, and develop inventory management strategies.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement effective marketing plans to increase sales and customer engagement.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed financial decisions to drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in retail management or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: On-site work at Petro Canada locations, with no option for remote work.
