About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Appliance Repair Technician to join our team at HARRY APPLIANCES REPAIR LTD. As an Electrical Appliance Repair Technician, you will be responsible for conducting electrical tests, preparing estimates, and repairing electrical appliances and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting Electrical Tests: Use electrical test equipment to conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests to diagnose faults and ensure the safe operation of electrical appliances.
  • Preparing Estimates: Create written estimates of repair costs for customers, providing detailed information on the work to be done and the costs involved.
  • Repairing Electrical Appliances: Diagnose and repair electrical appliances and components, using schematic drawings and product manuals as needed.
  • Planning Service Routes: Plan and optimize service routes to ensure efficient and effective delivery of repair services.
  • Providing Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and the condition of their equipment, providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in electrical appliance repair.
  • Certifications: Appliance Repair Trade Certification and HVAC Certificate.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
