Job Overview

We are currently looking for an on-call Post Office Assistant to provide exceptional customer service at our retail locations. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding results and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Service: Sell postal products and services to customers, including stamps, mailboxes, and other related items.
  • Mail Processing: Sort, distribute, and process mail into appropriate classifications.
  • Customer Support: Provide customers with information and forms, address delivery and service difficulties, and resolve problems thoroughly and quickly.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration.
  • Customer Service: Training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions.
  • Physical Demands: Physically fit to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Availability: Flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work.
