Percona is a leading provider of open-source database services, and we're seeking a skilled Database Performance Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you'll work closely with customers to resolve complex database issues and optimize their systems for peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve database performance issues using advanced troubleshooting techniques
  • Collaborate with customers to gather data and provide detailed analysis of findings
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on database performance optimization
  • Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles and blog posts on database performance topics
  • Participate in the Percona Adventure Team, embarking on exciting journeys and activities with colleagues from around the world

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and database performance optimization
  • Experience with Linux-based systems and cloud services such as AWS and RDS
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
  • Fluency in English and willingness to work with customers worldwide
