Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Terra Early Learning Society. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various media
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR
  • Criminal record check
