About the Role
GFL Environmental is seeking a highly skilled and experienced 310T Mechanic to join our team in Fleet Maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work with a leading environmental services company.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing our fleet of Trucks, Vacuum Trucks, and Power Wash Units to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing or replacing electrical components, steering and suspension, brakes, hydraulics, fuel and emission systems, cooling and heating systems, air systems, and performing regular maintenance tasks.
- Completing reports to record problems and work performed, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
- A valid 310T License.
- A valid Ontario G driver's license with a clean abstract.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field.
- Prior experience with Volvo and Cummins Engines is an asset.
