Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at Canadian Farms Produce Inc. as a key member of our agricultural operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to crop cultivation, harvesting, and farm maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Cultivation: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Harvesting: Hand harvest vegetables and fruits, and grade them according to size, shape, color, and volume.
  • Farm Maintenance: Clean work areas, stables, barns, barnyards, and pens, and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
  • Disease Detection: Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry, and take necessary actions to prevent their spread.
  • Quality Control: Examine products for quality and readiness for market.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, and will be required to handle heavy loads, work under pressure, and stand for extended periods. The work site environment is outdoors, with exposure to wet/damp, dusty, hot, and cold conditions.

Requirements
