We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at A.S.A Meat & West Indian Grocery Inc. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meat for processing or cutting
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Cut poultry into parts
- Price meat products
- Sell meats to customers
- Cut fish into steaks and fillets
- Grind meats
- Train meat cutters
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- Odours
- Cold/refrigerated
- Supermarket/grocery store
- Permanent
- English
- 35 to 40 hours per week
