Kitchen Helper Job Description

At SV Investments Ltd, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, ensuring that all equipment and appliances are in good working order.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and Sanitize: Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and appliances, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, and floors.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • Knife Sharpening: Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, including cleaning and sanitizing, and supply management.
  • Work Under Pressure: Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Experience:
