Job Title: Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team at Canada Life. As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping us protect our organization's sensitive information and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and mitigate information security risks to our organization
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and ensure the secure configuration of systems and applications
  • Provide security awareness training to employees and ensure that they understand their role in protecting our organization's information
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on risk management and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of IT control frameworks, such as COBIT, ISO 27001, and NIST
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
