Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at AGCO.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about warehouse operations and wants to work in a dynamic environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, handling, picking, packing, sorting, checking, and shipping a wide variety of materials and parts using scales, scanners, and keyboards.

They will also be responsible for making routing arrangements, dispatching, or moving items to proper staging locations, visually checking the condition of incoming materials and parts, and reporting any that are incorrect or do not meet quality standards to the appropriate Warehouse Supervisor.

In addition, the Warehouse Operations Specialist will be responsible for locating stock, filling requisitions, reporting stock that is in short supply, and completing paperwork in accordance with Company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Identify and report faulty equipment, damages, and safety concerns to Supervisor immediately.
  • Follow company standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and positive work atmosphere.
  • Perform all work according to documented safety policies and procedures.
  • Receive, unpack, count, sort, and check various materials and parts weighing up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
  • Monitor symbol number, description, size, and count against receiving, packing, and/or shipping lists.
  • Visually check the condition of incoming parts to monitor product quality.
  • Manually place materials in suitable containers and move them to the proper locations.
  • Maintain and update manual location files.
  • Manually guide the movement of items weighing up to 1,400 pounds via roller conveyors.
  • Ship orders using the following procedures:
  • Verify that the part number and the number on the pick ticket are the same as that shown on the order form.
  • Spot checks to verify that proper quantities have been picked.
  • Place material in the proper size shipping container using protective packing techniques.
  • Properly seal the shipping carton and affix a shipping label.
  • Mark the shipping order to note each line item shipped.
  • Take cycle counts as requested.
  • Meet or exceed predetermined rates.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Three to twelve months of relevant experience working in a warehouse.
  • On-the-job training is provided.
