About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Specialist to join our team at YEG Tech IT And Solutions Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confer with clients to identify their requirements and provide expert advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, and develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle, ensuring that our systems are secure, efficient, and effective.
  • Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a systems analyst or IT specialist role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

The primary language of work is English, and the work environment is a permanent position with 30 to 35 hours per week.
