Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing and organizing information to bring customers' homes to life. As a key member of our design team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring accurate and efficient solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Architectural team to understand customers' needs and prepare necessary shop drawings, specifications, and details for residential construction.
- Prepare hydraulic load, ventilation, energy efficiency, electrical load, or heat loss calculations to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Coordinate with designers and departments to ensure accurate information for production and distribution to stakeholders.
- Conduct code analysis, perform quality checks, and provide technical assistance as required.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A strong background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology, with a keen understanding of systems and energy efficiency in residential construction.
- Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
