We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Le Groupe JLD-Laguë, a leading provider of sales and service for new and used equipment. As a Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and repair client equipment or machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Refurbish used equipment for resale by the dealership, adhering to high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Repair and refurbish machinery or equipment within designated timeframes, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Establish diagnostics of problems, plan a work method, and sequence to follow before beginning repairs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Register all extra work on the work order and inform the workshop foreman or manager, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Prepare new equipment for delivery to clients, ensuring it meets their needs and expectations.
  • Provide technical support and answer questions from clients, demonstrating expertise and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Comply with health and safety standards and policies in the workplace, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
Requirements:
  • Vocational diploma in mechanics (construction machines, agricultural equipment, heavy machinery, or related equipment).
  • Five years' experience as a workshop or road technician, with a proven track record of success.
  • Passion for agriculture, business, or the industrial field, with a desire to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization.
  • Manual dexterity, ability to diagnose mechanical problems, autonomy, resourcefulness, quick execution, and discipline, as well as a passion for customer service.
