We are seeking a talented and experienced Integration Developer to join our team in PEI Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop integrations through APIs using various tools such as Postman.
  • Develop mappings for diverse source and target data types (databases, flat files, XML, JSON) across various transport mechanisms (SQL, REST HTTP, SOAP, FTP, FTPS, Email, etc.).
  • Collaborate effectively with onboarding teams, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide comprehensive defect analysis and resolution support for system and user acceptance testing.
  • Create and maintain API RAML or file specification documentation.
  • Develop data extraction, cleansing, and formatting scripts.
  • Document custom logic specific to individual integrations.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in programming and a strong understanding of the technical environment and functional expectations of software. They should also demonstrate a passion for continuous learning and recommending new technologies.

Required Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of direct programming experience.
  • Experience designing and implementing web applications.
  • Proven track record of developing well-designed, tested, and production-ready code.
  • Experience developing or supporting web applications.
  • Expertise in RESTful API design and development.
  • Data mapping and transformation skills using modern integration platforms such as MuleSoft.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional development environment.
  • Proficiency with version control systems like Git or Azure.
  • Familiarity with automation servers such as Jenkins.
  • Shell scripting experience, such as Bash.
  • CI/CD experience using tools like Jenkins, Azure, and Git.
Technical Expertise
  • Proficiency in web development languages and frameworks (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, PHP, Angular).
  • API development experience.
  • Java/Springboot expertise.
  • Docker and Kubernetes container software knowledge.
  • Experience developing black boxes.
  • Web server administration (Apache).
  • Load testing, load balancing, performance testing, and automated testing.
  • Relational database management (MySQL, MariaDB, MS SQL Server).
  • Operating system proficiency (Ubuntu).
Assets
  • Experience working with government organizations.
  • Drupal Content Management System module development.
  • API Gateway knowledge.
  • Load Balancers and reverse proxies (Nginx).
  • DNS Services expertise.
  • Transport Layer Security (TLS) understanding.
