Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our Information Systems team at Manulife. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes hosted applications and APIs, while meeting service level agreements and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with internal and external partners to resolve operational issues and plan IT enhancements.
  • Develop IT Operations processes to support technical delivery involving multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Perform data management, data loads, system scanning, scripting, QA automation, and coordinate production releases.
  • Enable monitoring, logging with tools such as New Relic, Moogsoft, Devo, and Azure Diagnostics.
  • Configure and maintain infrastructure and networking requirements to support production environments.
  • Participate in vulnerability management, cyber security, and disaster recovery initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree holder.
  • At least 2 years of experience in using Azure, Kubernetes, and APIs.
  • Amenability to work onsite and from home anytime, dependent on business need and current external environment.
  • Readiness and confidence installing, configuring, upgrading IT systems and applications in Windows/Linux based environments.
  • API Management and DevOps principles and tools an asset.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities to deliver forward-looking IT solutions.
  • Good verbal and written communication to effectively articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes.
