Financial Clerk

About the Role:

As a Financial Clerk at PROTAX CANADA INC, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. You will also be required to keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, keeping general ledgers, and preparing tax returns. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be able to work under pressure. Our company is looking for someone who is accurate, efficient, and has excellent communication skills. Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work setting: Urban area, Willing to relocate
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Accounting software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, MS Office
  • Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Work under pressure
  • Personal suitability: Accurate, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Organized, Reliability
