About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tire Technician to join our team at Winnipeg Flatbeds Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet's tires.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tire Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine tire checks, repairs, and replacements to ensure our vehicles are road-ready.
  • Fluid and Filter Maintenance: Assist in the replacement of hydraulic and transmission fluids, as well as oil, air, and fuel filters.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of our vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Tool Maintenance: Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition and properly maintained.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, judgement, and reliability
