Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Archer Learning Ltd. as a Child Care Centre Educator. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development.
- Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities that promote learning and development, including storytelling, singing, and educational outings, while encouraging children to express their creativity through various mediums.
- Child Support: Provide guidance and assistance to children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and toilet habits, while observing and reporting any signs of potential learning or behavioral issues.
- Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a comprehensive support system for children and families.
- Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Additional Responsibilities: Plan and organize activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours, ensuring a seamless transition between childcare and education.
- Certifications and Licenses: Possess an Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certification, as well as an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
- Security and Safety: Obtain a criminal record check and undergo a medical exam as required by the company.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Be able to perform repetitive tasks, work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and engage in bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrate dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, interpersonal awareness, reliability, and a team player attitude.
This is a permanent position with a work term of 30 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
