Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician - Equipment Specialist to join our team at SC Appliance Repair. As an integral part of our repair services, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers' appliances are functioning correctly and efficiently.

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in appliance repair, with experience in handling electrical appliances and components, as well as gas appliances and related equipment. You should be proficient in performing routine maintenance tasks, such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, and calibrating systems.

You will also be responsible for inspecting and repairing appliances, identifying potential issues, and taking corrective action to prevent future problems. Additionally, you will need to handle customer complaints and provide excellent customer service.

Our work environment is fast-paced, and you will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding setting. You must also be able to distinguish between colors and wear steel-toed safety boots.

Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • Appliance Repair Trade Certification
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Willingness to travel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
