Job Title: Cashier

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at East Side Grocery Ltd. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas
  • Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels
  • Assist with visual merchandising and store displays
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
