About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 2635469 Ontario INC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide a welcoming and inclusive shopping environment.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, restock shelves, and ensure a safe and secure shopping area.
  • Monitor Entrances and Exits: Ensure all customers have proof of payment and maintain a secure shopping environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail sales experience.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
