Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring the timely completion of financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Payroll Processing: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure accurate payment of employees.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, trial balances, and other statistical reports as required.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent organizational skills.
- Work Environment: Office environment with regular working hours.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
- Accurate: Ability to maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Client Focus: Ability to provide excellent customer service and support to clients.
- Dependability: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
