Cisco Instructor

As a Cisco Lecturer at LaSalle College, you will be responsible for teaching theoretical and practical concepts related to information technologies, guiding students through their practical work, and evaluating their performance. You will also contribute to the design of educational programs and the development of new teaching methods to enhance student learning. Key areas of focus include:

• Cisco Networking
• Network Protocols
• Networking
• Cybersecurity
• Advanced Configuration

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver class sessions in a dynamic, efficient, and structured manner
• Design formative and summative assessments using the competency-based approach
• Administer and correct assessments
• Monitor each student and encourage success
• Be available to students to promote their development of the targeted skill
• Perform other related tasks

Requirements:

• Be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Hold a university certificate or diploma or a college diploma with an option or concentration in the relevant discipline
• Have teaching or relevant experience in the discipline for at least one full semester within the last five years
• Have practised a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least two years
