Maintenance Worker

The Toronto Catholic District School Board is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment within our designated schools and Board offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including floors, washrooms, and common areas
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning equipment and supplies
- Assist with furniture moving and grounds care
- Operate power cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Minimum completion of grade 10 Ontario, or equivalent
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including day, mid-shift, afternoon, and overnight shifts
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects
- Good communication and teamwork skills
