Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled courier driver to join our team at JS Delivery Services Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliveries: Pick up and deliver messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service to our clients.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
  • Safety and Security: Transport and handle dangerous goods safely, adhering to regulations and guidelines.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods efficiently, taking care not to damage cargo.
  • Trip Planning: Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and reduce travel time.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered.
Requirements
  • Licenses: Hold a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence for cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles.
  • Certifications: Possess a criminal record check, driving record check (abstract), and basic security clearance.
  • Personal Qualities: Be organized, reliable, and possess excellent judgment and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring adaptability and efficiency.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Tools and Equipment
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Wear steel-toed safety boots and utilize a cellular phone as necessary.
