Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our dynamic Inpatient Surgery team. The successful candidate will assume a participative role on the healthcare team, providing nursing services to patients based on their assessment and care planning procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing services to patients within their defined scope of practice
  • Assume a participative role on the healthcare team
  • Work 12-hour shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays
Requirements:
  • Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing
  • RPN Diploma or equivalent required
  • Current BCLS certificate required
  • 2 years of current medical/surgical experience in an active care setting
  • Medication administration course essential
  • CMH certified to initiate IV and administer IV medications required

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $77,118 - $78,613, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a part-time position with an expected average number of hours per biweekly period ranging from 45-90 hours.
