About the JobThis is a permanent, 35-hour per week position that offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assuming full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents;
- Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties;
- Traveling with the family on trips and assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties;
- Washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and household linens;
- Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children;
- Disciplining children according to the methods requested by the parents;
- Instructing children in personal hygiene and social development;
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home;
- Organizing activities such as games and outings for children;
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals;
- Supervising and caring for children;
- Tending to the emotional well-being of children;
- Cooking.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A patient and honest approach to childcare.
