Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to various locations.
  • Logistics and Scheduling: Plan and coordinate routes, schedules, and delivery times to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients by ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Certifications: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles), First Aid Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate are required.
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in the field of employment is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to handle heavy loads, work in a fast-paced environment, and sit for extended periods is required.
