Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, sand, and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Apply stains or finishes to wood to achieve the desired color and appearance.
  • Reinforce assembled furniture and fixtures with dowels or other supports to ensure stability and durability.
  • Install hardware on furniture and fixtures to complete the finishing process.
  • Clean, polish, and wax furniture to maintain its appearance and protect the finish.
  • Sand metal furniture to prepare it for finishing and apply paint or other materials as needed.
  • Strip old finishes from wood surfaces to prepare them for new finishes.
  • Perform minor repairs to furniture to ensure it meets our quality standards.
Requirements
  • Will train the successful candidate to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
