About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at RONA Inc. as a Customer Insights Specialist. This is a key role that will play a critical part in informing our business decisions and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement quantitative and qualitative primary research projects to address key strategic issues for RONA Canada.
  • Act as an expert in assisting internal teams to properly define consumer-related business issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Develop and implement tracking mechanisms to monitor performance metrics of RONA Canada's various banners.
  • Provide research reports that summarize complex research findings into concise, clear, and actionable information.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients to identify opportunities to add more value to the business through research.
  • Manage partner relationships with RONA Canada's external research suppliers.
Requirements
  • University degree in Marketing, Statistics, or other related field; a master's degree is an asset.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years of experience interacting with clients, in developing and managing quantitative and qualitative research projects.
  • Good understanding of various research, and statistical and data analysis methodologies.
  • Confidence in designing research projects that will help address business problems.
  • Practical experience in marketing support and/or customer experience roles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and high tolerance for change.
  • Professionalism and confidence in communicating to company executives.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and succinctly using PowerPoint.
  • Excellent business document writing and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with a statistical survey analysis tool (e.g., SPSS).
