Boilermaker Specialist

Are you a skilled Boilermaker looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? We have an exciting position available for a Boilermaker Journeyperson to join our team at the Suncor Firebag project in Alberta.

• Develop and implement plans for the construction, repair, and maintenance of boilers, tanks, and pressure vessels.
• Layout, shape, and cut metal and other materials using hot and cold methods.
• Assemble and install components using bolting and welding techniques.
• Inspect and test pressure and non-pressure systems.
• Operate cranes and other hoisting equipment to move and place materials.
• Design and assemble winch and block systems.
• Perform complex hoisting operations, including large tandem lifts.

• Certified Journeyperson Boilermaker.
• Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certification.
• Energy Safety Canada certifications in Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry & Monitor, Elevated Work Platform/Ariel Work Platform, and Respiratory Protective Equipment.
• Valid Full Class 5 Driver's License.
• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
