Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at J's Bakery & Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food products are prepared and presented to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Determine food portion sizes and costs to maintain profitability
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet customer demand
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Safe Food Handling certificate
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Permanent full-time position
- 40 hours per week
- English language of work
