We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our team at School District #74 (Gold Trail). As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting students to and from school and on all other trips as assigned, while maintaining a safe and efficient environment on the bus.
Key Responsibilities- Transport students to and from school and on all other trips as assigned
- Supervise students on the bus to maintain a safe environment
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus
- Sweep and clean the interior and exterior of the bus daily
- Make minor repairs as required and report to the Mechanic any items requiring repairs
- Maintain student discipline
- Undertake bus washing and needed lubrication
- Possession of a valid Class 2 Driver's License with air endorsement
- 2 years of driving experience with Class 2 and air
- Clear Driver's Abstract
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicles
- Clear criminal record check
- Ability to communicate and relate well with students
- Physical capability to perform the work
